Kathleen Kelleher is an attorney at Shay Glenn LLP where she focuses on patent prosecution, patent application drafting, and IP due diligence investigations. Katie has relevant patent experience in implantable medical devices, drug delivery mechanisms, microfluidic devices, and green energy technologies.
Prior to joining Shay Glenn LLP, Katie was an associate at Fish & Richardson, P.C. She also interned at Alston & Bird, LLP. Before entering the legal profession, Katie served as a research associate in the Life Cycle Management group of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. She also worked at the MIT Clark Colton Laboratory studying the cytotoxicity of biopolymers for insulin replacement as well as at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, studying energy consumption.
Katie earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan. She received Masters of Engineering and Bachelors of Science degrees from MIT in material science and engineering with an emphasis on bioengineering.
Katie is admitted to practice in California and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
